I used to know your name (this is not a poem..)

Will this be another goodbye?
While we choke back tears and pretend not to cry?
“it’s ok I’ll be fine”
We will pick up the relationship another time.
See I’m not ready to forgive,
So I need to try and live ,with out you

But I can’t.
You will always be with me in the back of my memory.
You stay there haunting me, taunting me
To come back and relive the friendship we once had.
But you blew it, it’s over I’m done being sad
I’m moving on, so should you.

Will we meet in our future?
Only time will tell.
I want you so badly but you put me through hell.
You don’t mean to hurt me,
You never do
It’s always “I’m sorry you know I can’t live without you”

I need you too, but it’s not worth the pain,
I walk around now as if I never knew your name.
When I see you it hurts me so bad
To think what we have is now what we “had”

I wish you the best,
I pray that you change,
So one day I can go back to knowing your name.

I hope what you did was worth what you lost

Treasure every beating heart that sets your soul on fire.

Because you’ll miss them when their gone.
